Generation 5 – A beep while stopping after software update

Good evening,

I have a strange and admittedly trivial problem, hoping that maybe someone else has some experience with this.

I have a 2018 Outback 2.5 Premium with 70k miles on it. It is equipped with the factory navigation system.

A week or so ago I did the latest software update and everything seems to be working fine. The other day I noticed that when I stop, as the car stops, I hear a low “beep”. It sounds like the sound cars make when adaptive cruise control picks up a car in front of you. I don’t even have that beep on though.

Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe it’s a bug in the software update? Or maybe something is missing in the control panel that I’m doing wrong about this? Not a big deal, barely noticeable really, but since I can’t figure it out, I’m getting curious now.

Thanks in advance for any info/help.
