It just started intermittently. Sometimes, when on intermittent shutdown, the wipers start to wipe continuously. Turning the switch on/off/off doesn’t change it, and in fact, sometimes the wipers can’t be turned off at all. Stopping the car, putting it in park and turning off/starting the car seems to at least temporarily stop the wipers if the rear wiper switch is in the off position when the engine is turned off.
I wonder if this is:
- some sort of intermittent wiper module problem
- a problem with a multifunction switch
- a computer board problem
- other?
What controls this rear wiper function (besides the obvious switch…)
Does anyone have this problem? Thoughts? Ideas?
