UPDATE: Dealership called with an update, it wasn’t the fuel pump controller. There was a kink in the wiring harness for the fuel pump, there was an exposed wire that caused the O ring for the fuel pump to fail. The service tech actually said that this was due to a poor install of the fuel pump from the recall.

I had the fuel pump recall performed in Jan 2022. Two days ago, my car stalled. Subaru service center said I need to replace the Fuel Pump Controller. They say it is not related to the fuel pump recall.
Has anyone else had this issue? I searched the forum and did not find a thread related to this.
