Gen 5 – Are both these filters genuine subaru? How could I tell?

In addition,

All Tokyo Roki filters I’ve seen have the rotation marking (1-8) around the base to guide tightening. The one on the right does not.

Subaru part numbers are continuous — no spaces — as on the filter on the left. Filter on the right has a gap.

The Tokyo Roki name is normally spread around, with each letter clear (filter on the left). On the right, the O and K in ROKI are mashed together, but there’s no similar compression in the printing above and below.

The box on the left has Subaru Corporation on it, whereas the one on the right has Fuji Heavy Industries. The corporate name was formally changed from Fuji Heavy Industries to Subaru Corporation in 2017. Old stock? Perhaps.
