2016 Outback, sometimes while at a full stop it feels like the car wants to lurch forward? Like if your foot wasn’t on the brakes it might move. Sorta like when you shift into 4wd on a old truck. seems like a transmission slipping issue or it not being engaged correctly then it engages? I took It to the dealer since these 2016 have the 100K warranty on the transmission. They say it’s the MOTOR MOUNT. Seems to me like they are just fishing for a reason without checking the transmission. I know I could be wrong but I have driven cars with busted motor mounts. Didn’t seem to do anything to the transmission. Granted these were 70’s vw’s. Also quite often it is not possible to remove the key from the ignition upon parking. Have to turn the car back on and inch a bit forward or backwards and then it will come out fine.
