RE: Subaru Outback 2008 Automatic Transmission.
I have an ongoing issue. My Subaru keeps breaking down. I live up in the mountains, on a dirt road in Colorado. It is stuck here.
I borrowed a code reader and have no clue what these codes mean (see attached). I usually use Auto Zone but this foxwell is confusing AF even after 2 hours of YouTube. Does someone know these codes?
Basically, with that said….I have an ongoing issue with my Subaru. Throws fake codes. I replaced the MAF sensor, Engine Coil and spent 1k at the dealership and nothing fixed it. What did fix it was adding transmission fluid, CATALYTIC converter cleaner, fuel injector cleaner…Ran amazing for 3 months. But, same issue all over again.
Car runs, sounds clogged, shakes, not an even throttle in gear (sounds good in park)….doesn’t get enough gas pressure to go up my driveway. Same issue as last time.
Also, there was a pack rat nest in the engine about the same time it broke down. Could be unrelated.
I know it’s probably a smile fix and I don’t have a lot of money so what can I do to test it (other than fake bunk ass code errors). Can I unhook the muffler? Can I spray something in the engine throttle? Need something to get it to town or fix it.
What does Occam’s Razor or say here? A real fix….
