[2005 Outback 3.0R VDC] I just tried replacing my instrument cluster as the one that came with my Outback when I bought it was tampered with to have the CEL removed. I installed a new Optitron cluster successfully, but this immobilized the vehicle. When I try to start it, all lights come on but it doesn’t crank and the security light is solid. Sometimes I can get it to crank or even briefly get running strangely, but it will quickly shut itself off. How can I re-mobilize the vehicle, and is it possible to move my odometer data from the old cluster to the new one? For now I’ve replaced the old one back in to get it drivable. Thanks in advance!
