Flashing AT oil temp, brake, and solid traction control

FYI – Last year I bought a used 2013 Outback Limited, drove it for a year with no issues, last Friday 8/25 I got the triple light scare (AT Oil Temp, Traction Control, Brakes) all blinking. I was on vacation 350 miles from home so went to a Meineke. They diagnosed that I needed a new transmission ($6500), plus ball bearings in front right tire & something with the CV Shaft. He recommended not driving home so we dropped $500 on a tow. Dropped off at the dealership Sunday, just got the call that it’s the valve body & covered by warranty to 15 yrs or 150K miles, whichever comes first. It has 120K, so valve body repair is FREE, then they’ll check the other issues. Bottom line, for any transmission issues take it to a dealership or an authorized Subaru repair shop, Bonus, have a 2023 fully loaded Outback with all the bells & whistles for free while inspection & repairs being done. Great sales pitch!
