FB20 headers on FB25 motor : 2013 Ob 2.5l Limited CVT

So im running into an issue, my catalytic converter is completely clogged up, I had originally thought about just gutting the OEM cat and reinstall but because of the angle of the cat and opening I don’t think that will be possible, I can’t afford an OEM replacement cat at the moment, roughly ~$1500. I have found that inferno Fabrications makes an UEL headers, for around 800 (few months wait though) its advertise as an FB20 & FB25 headers. secondly CNT racing makes UEL headers for the FB20 (catless) for about 300. can anybody confirm the fitment on FB20 headers on a 2.5? or deck height differences? it looks as it have the same oil pan clearance height and should line up but uncertain about deck height differences thank could make lining up exhaust ports impossible? possible with a little persuasion?

Thank you if you can help!!

I ordered a custom header from Inferno Fab for my 2006 Outback NA engine. Just send him a message to see if he can confirm fitment on your car. Judging by the pictures I’ll bet it’s pretty dang close… I waited about 6 months I think for the header, but mine was a little longer than what is normal because of the custom options I wanted. Regardless, he does really good work. My header looked fantastic, I had it catless so I could weld in two universal cats just after the collector. Still using it.

Finally, if you just want a relatively inexpensive replacement, you can buy one from RockAuto. They have complete exhaust manifolds w/cat from $330-$680 for your car.
