EDIT: THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND / WARM UP AIRBAGS? Who wants a LIFT air suspension?

Thanks for the above reply.

Still for me it’s about air knowledge vs stiffer springs or some other setup.

We plan to add stiffer springs as it seems the least intrusive way (no other suspension changes needed) to add ride height at a relatively inexpensive cost. I understand that the springs are permanent risers, which we are fine with.

Compare it to air suspension, other than being able to raise and lower the suspension as needed, are there any other benefits? Will they last longer than stronger springs? Cost comparison? Should I consider changing any other suspension parts to compensate for a height adjustable suspension? Will they handle off-road bumps better (I mean big potholes, very rocky roads, laundry roads, etc)?

I’m interested, but I can’t give a clear answer without knowing how they compare to the alternatives. I have read good things about air suspension performance, but generally on very expensive vehicles which then have higher repair costs if needed.

To sum it up, if it’s just paying for a convenience, then I’d probably pass and just get springs. But if there are other real tangible benefits to using air suspension, then I would seriously consider it.
