Cracking Leather Upholstery | Subaru Outback Forums

So this is why my 1997 OB Limited had perfect leather 20 years later?

Well, if it’s not full leather, I think someone needs to change the advertising / marketing guidelines.

Or more fully, you mean that the upper part is made of leather, but the sides, etc. are not. If so, that’s something I knew.

Are you a partner with the ASPCA? I give money to rescue pets, not car seats.

So let me see –

Subaru has a protocol where they protect you from XM stations on our Sirius radios
Subaru advertises leather but uses ?????
Looks like I bought a PC machine? ;)

Ok fine but just don’t call it leather or maybe we should go to plush trimmings?

It seems that after discovering the little secret that some people are not happy

“When I pay for skin, I want skin.
Saying it’s leather then fine print saying not all leather is stealing.

“Perhaps they should be forced to change the wording of most parts of the seats are not leather.”

Subaru hasn’t used full genuine leather covers since 2008 when they partnered with the ASPCA as far as I know. I think even earlier than that.
