Choosing a swing-out spare tire carrier

I’ve decided I want to get a hitch receiver mounted, swing-out, spare tire carrier (I have a full-size spare, third party wheel and tire). I’m pretty much down to two options, after starting with four, and I’m hoping to get the thoughts of the group mind here. Does anyone have one or the other of these? Has anyone else recently had to choose between them?

Option 2: Dirtcom Trail Swing

Yeah, they’re both really expensive, but they’ve got the features I’m looking for. Additionally they end up being within $50 of one another when similarly equipped.

The two options I’ve more or less moved on from are the Rigid Armor Swing-Out Tire Carrier and the Wilco Offroad Hitchgate Solo. While both sporting lower starting prices, the accessories I’d want to add are quite a bit more expensive. So they end up being only a couple hundred dollars cheaper.

The accessories I want/need include a lit mounting bracket for the rear license plate, and to be able to carry a Rotopax fuel can.

So what says the Outback hive mind?
