I’m in the market again for another vehicle as my significant other and I just bought a house and for a number of reasons it might be time to make it a two car family. My ’02 VDC will stick around, but it may drop to second car status.
What’s a good bet under $10,000 on a used Outback? Staying out of the new/CPO pre-owned market for now as this would be an all-cash transaction and I’d be looking at a “new” car here in a few years.
I do almost all my own shocks except for the engine/transmission swap.
Leaning towards Gen 3/Gen 4 H6 but would entertain a Gen 4 2.5. Although I am worried about the early years of the CVT.
