TSB 11-174-17R Reprogramming File Availability for: DTC P05A0- Battery Discharge after Repeated Short-Trip Driving High Engine Idle RPM After Depressing Clutch Pedal
Things worked great right after the update, but here I am less than 6 month later and I’m having the exact same kinds of issues. If the car sits for more than a day or 2, the battery dies and I need to use my jump pack to get it started again.
The frustration level at this point has left me wanting to get rid of it. Why bother maintaining a car I need to jump any time I want to use it?
Is there any recourse at this point? I have another appointment scheduled with my dealer but after the hoops they made me jump through to even get the update installed, I’m not confident they want to help me. Anyone else still experiencing issues post update? I see others have switched to larger batteries but I shouldn’t have to spend the money on that. Subaru should fix this!
