Batteries can be an interesting thing on many vehicles. Life spans for me….Average about 4 years and then I start shopping for a new one. I buy the best I can given the vehicle it’s going into. Some are buried in places they should not be. With that expirience under my belt, it is one of the things I look for when I buy a new vehicle. Just how easy is it to maintain, inspect, and replace one.
I was also a Store Manager for one of the larger Chains for Auto Parts. Batteries can be a pain and you have to side with the customer on these. There have been times that even fresh new batteries can have something go wrong with them. Again, get them a fresh one, TEST it right in front of the Customer and then do the installation the best you can and then TEST it again!
