Went car camping to a fairly remote area. Battery drained after one day of opening car doors and back hatch (just unloading gear). Found someone to jump the car and cut the camping trip early! Pretty upset that it drained so easily when Subaru advertises as “camping/out back” car.
2020 Ascent. Took it to a Subaru dealership and $630.00 later, a new battery. When I was at the dealer ship another person was getting a new battery for the very same reason. Can’t trust the battery to last just because an interior light is left on or the door gets opened a few too many times. Subaru should provide a better battery, or a sure way to turn off all interior lights.
