I have a 2022 Subaru Outback. And this very thing happened to me today. “No audio played” is displayed. Attempting to use the radio did not work. The “audio” part of the MFD was just locked. Tried disconnecting BT on my Samsung Note9. And while the BT connection icon changed, nothing with the audio changed.
I left the car to go to Petsmart. When I came back about 10 minutes later. Everything worked fine. A few minutes later, I stopped at an Ace Hardware. It exited and the audio shut down again, same way.
What is different. Hard to say. I have had a different Galaxy Note 9 since last week. renovation / replacement of damage. Also, I have a Garmin Edge 830 which created two new BT connections on my phone. Neither of these should affect anything.
