If you could send pics of the control panel for it, and the moonroof, that would be great. The moonroof doesn’t have any source of power when the car is off. The main relays are literally off, so, it is impossible for the car to open the moon roof in the event of a switch failure (which is the only thing I could think of that would open the moonroof when not wanted). You can find those relays in your engine compartment, in the fuse box on the driver’s side.
It also cannot be pried open without it breaking.
Sadly, I suspect that someone left it open. If that is NOT the case, any good dealership would be able to diagnose how power got to the moonroof motor through a relay that should have been “off”, through the controller and through the switch. That should be something they can easily find.
