Update – it took a while to get through the collision center load – I got my Outback repaired today and it looks good and runs like new. The final bill was $4,700. New muffler, rear body panel, rear body floor panel, rear bumper cover, rear bumper reinforcement bar and rear parking sensors.
Now for the reduced value…I haven’t talked to the insurance company about it yet. Suggestions?
I see a KBB private party value of ~$26,800. What kind of deduction will I need to get for mine? Does $2,500 sound good? To be clear, I assume the insurance company will drop the ball and offer $500 or something ridiculous.
