Not sure about you but around me (MN) Outback stock at dealers is really good. When I went to look for my 23 Wilderness there were 6 to choose from and about 20 others in various models. I basically just googled vario dealers around me, read their reviews to decide on one, and looked at their stock before heading out. The dealer I chose was a no-shop dealer and had all prices and incentives posted online. My OBW was ~$3K below MSRP ($39.5K), with no extras other than some factory options.
Just keep in mind that the refreshed 2024 model is coming soon. I personally don’t like the refreshed look so I jumped on a 2023 while they are still available. The 2024 is available with a heated steering wheel and HK audio, so you’ll have to decide if you want that along with the new look.
