2023 Ascent A/C not blowing cold & poor fuel economy

I just purchased a 2023 Limited and wanted to post here as I am not satisfied with the AC. Coming from a 2021 Tundra which had zero issues getting cold within a minute of being started, regardless of idling or driving and then getting into the Ascent and having to drive probably 10 minutes even with “Max A/C” on for the cabin to feel cool (never truly blowing cold air) I’m pretty disappointed. I’ve already taken the vehicle back to the dealership where they weren’t able to find any issue, however they did pull the refrigerant out and put new refrigerant in… it’s the same deal.

It’s a shame that I’m not able to fully enjoy the purchase of my new vehicle as the temps here are soaring and it’s just plain miserable inside the cabin for the first 10 minutes of my drive. I’m in TX and our temps are 105F right now. Really missing my Tundra and regretting the purchase of my Ascent.

Oh and I’m also getting 13mpg for highway driving… which is less than my Tundra was getting. I don’t know how long or how realistic the break-in period is in regards to increasing fuel economy but as of right now it’s pretty terrible. I’m still on my first tank of gas which looks to only net me about 250miles. Man I was hoping for a lot more than what I got.
