Has anyone figured out how to silence the plastic noise in the glove box lid. There is a felt cover over the plastic liner on the inside of the drop cap. If you press gently on this inner lining of the cap, you can repeat the noise. The noise is noticeable when it closes while driving over less-than-perfect pavement, and the mind bends when driving over rough pavement. I hope someone has a suggestion on how to fix this annoyance. Thank you all for your positive suggestions in advance.
I have a hard time visualizing this, and like @SilverOnyx I’ve never had a buzz.
The only thing I can think of inside the glove box is actually behind it, and that’s the cover for the cabin filter. I think it might rattle if it’s not connected properly.
