New to the forum and have a lot of questions, but one at a time. I recently bought my 2018 with 120,000 miles and since the previous owner never had or did work without records I am trying to do what I can. I will change the antifreeze, hoses and thermostats. What temperature should the lower thermostat be and how much should the upper thermostat be? So many thermostats on the web. I will be hauling a 2000 lb camper. Bye how I live in Texas. Thanks for any help. Jim
All good things to do for sure. I would also recommend the spark plugs, PCV valve, drain and fill the front and rear differentials, drain and fill the CVT, flush the brake fluid along with the cabin and engine air filters.
I would look in the warranty and service manual for the specified frequencies after you “zero” the maintenance items in question. Since you will be pulling footnotes on schedule for heavy duty, they will apply to you.
Good luck and congratulations on your purchase.
