Change the instructions for your model year. This applies to my 2023 Ascent Limited.
1.) You will find the website link at the end of this sentence for the update files. Thanks to the host for making those files available. Website Hyperlink: Subaru Software Update March 2023.
2.) When you enter the website, select the model year. Then click the folder image in the right column, this will show you the contents of the folder which will be F61Wx033-68x (Year 2023) and the TSB PDF file.
3.) When you click on this F61Wx033-68x folder, the MARSOC folder will appear, the update folders in this folder for Base, Mid & High contain the file. For the Ascent Limited 2023, I needed the F61WMM (Mid) folder. The update file is in this folder. If you have a base, then the folder F61WBM, F61WHM high.
4.) While downloading the file, google wanted to add a “-001” to the end of the file name. I had to change it back to its original file name after downloading to its original name: ALLUPD-NAVI.pkg.
5.) On your formatted USB, the file ALLUPD-NAVI.pkg should be in the following folder and subfolder (My Ascent): MARSOC\F61WMM\
6.) The “REPRO_MNG” excel file is uploaded directly to the USB.
7.) To enter Representation mode, make sure the 6 pushes of the Tuning/Move button are in rapid succession.
