Drove for work, about 2 hrs to job. AC was fine. Start return, nothing at all.
Its been several days since, trying to get up to speed on this car’s difference in the AC system.
There isn’t the traditional clutch, so can’t jimmy it. I use a smart probe and apply 12V to the junction terminal for the compressor and get no sound, or indication it changed. When I engage AC button, there is a RPM change, and both the lines get hot. When I connect a booster charge canister, the gauge goes far right into red, which indicates compressor never turned on.

The cabin fuses (2) and the engine fan fuses (2) are OK. I swap the fan relay, no change. The engine fan does not turn on for a 15 min drive here at 92 degrees. I find that pretty odd, and wonder what else I need to trouble shoot that is keeping compressor from working. Car has near 285,000 on it. It’s needs the valve covers seals job, but otherwise it is pretty solid.
