07 Outback No Start | Subaru Outback Forums

Hello,

I have an 07 outback manual pickup base model that has a no start condition.

I will describe everything I can think of some of which may be trivial but I still want to reveal.

We went on a few road trips before this happened and everything was fine except the AC would work intermittently even though the system was loaded. Maybe a bad compressor? Also not sure how normal this is for the H4 but if the car is fully loaded for a camping trip it has very little hill passing power. I think this is normal, but I just wanted to post it. Other than that it’s good.

After that, the car was fine for a while, except a few times when it took a longer than normal maneuver to start. I finally got some CELs. Don’t remember the exact code numbers but one was for the O2 sensor and one for the crank sensor. I replaced both and never got those codes again. After that I got a flashing cruise control light that went away on the same car. Later I continued to drive normally and a little while later (maybe 2-3 days) in the middle of running around town I go to start and just get a constant crank. I push to start the car to try to get home and it starts but has absolutely no power (limp mode?). I ran my OB2 reader and it gives me a failed ECU code. After this happened, I have no maniac.

What I’ve done since then:
Tested for spark: NO SPARK
Replaced the ECU
Replace the locking sensor again
Replaced the ignition coil
Changed the battery

The candles look really nice
The spark plug wires are perfect and all have continuity
Tested all fuses in engine compartment and driver side kick board. With the key in the on position (not stuck or engine running), all the fuses that gave me a light that worked on both sides and the ones that were off were off on both sides. Not sure about the relays to be honest but they seem intact.

Mileage approx 175k

Since I have done all of this, I have the engine cranking but no spark. When I reconnect the battery when the key is turned to the on position, I get a series of electrical clicks that last about 2-3 seconds. Then when I try when I turn off the car and try again it goes away. While the engine is starting, the navigation light flashes.

Anyone what could be the problem or what else I should test?
